Temperature: Floating Weekly Average, Upper Vs Lower Daugherty Creek |
|
Caption: Floating weekly average water temperatures of lower Daugherty Creek (site 79-4) are actually cooler than at a station further upstream (site 79-5). Although Daugherty Creek cooled somewhat at the mouth, both locations were over temperatures considered suitable for coho salmon in 1997. The 16.8 degree C stress threshold for coho salmon was chosen based on Welsh et al. (2001). See Info Links for more information. Data provided by the Mendocino Redwood Company.
