Sediment: Gravel Permeability from EBNF Big River 2000 |

Caption: The chart above shows that mean gravel permeability in the EBNF Big River in the year 2000 was highly variable between tail-out sites, but nine out of the ten sites studied showed low permeabilities leading to predicted survival indices below 50%. High gravel permeability indicates favorable conditions for incubating salmon eggs and alevins. The red markers display predicted values for percent egg-to-fry survival.
