Temperature: Floating Weekly Average of LNF above/below Berry Gulch |
|
Caption: The floating weekly average temperature of the Little North Fork Big River above and below Berry Gulch did not exceeded 16.8 degrees C in 1996 or 1997 and would have been suitable for coho juvenile rearing. Berry Gulch has a warming influence on the Little North Fork. The 16.8 degree C stress threshold for coho salmon was chosen based on Welsh et al. (2001). Click on Info Links for more information. Click on Picture for a map of locations. Data provided by the Forest Science Project with the permission of Jackson Demonstration State Forest. The JDSF site code numbers are 541 and 542.
