Caption: This chart shows daily maximum rainfall accumulation recorded at the Manzanita Lake rain gage (DWR # A40 5311 00) between water years 1950 and 2000. For the period of record, the 24-hour rainfall accumulation ranged between 1.21 inches in 1992 to 5.90 inches in 1953. Note that the very damaging January 1997 storm was tied for second for the highest rainfall total in a 24 hour period Data are compiled by the California Department of Water Resources.
