Sediment: Surface Fines (<2 mm) at all Battle WA Sites |
|
Caption: This chart shows the surface fine sediment of less than 2 mm in pool tail crests found at all Battle Creek WA sites for which fine sediment data were available. The results show that fines were very high (> 50%) at numerous South Fork Battle Creek locations, on the lower mainstem, at two Bailey Creek sites, on the North Fork above the NF Battle Creek Reservoir, and at one location on Digger Creek. Data are from Terraqua (2004) and were collected in accordance with USFS AREMP methods. The reference represents the EMDS "fully functional" rating curve for salmonid habitat suitability of less than 11% surface fines. See Info Links for more information.
