Fish: 1981 Electrofishing (Estimated Population) Walker Cr by Station |
|
Caption: The graph shows the estimated population of fish species at six stations (see Picture) going downstream from left to right in Walker Creek. These results were produced from electrofishing by the California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) in October, 1981. The purpose of this survey was to determine the effects on fish populations of enhancement flows released from Soulajule Reservoir by the Marin Municipal Water District. CDFG notes that juvenile salmonid populations were greater than found prior to enhancement flow releases, but much less than expected. See Picture for a map of station locations and Info Links for more information.
