Click on image to enlarge (57K). This map shows the coho salmon spawner survey reaches and stream gauge location in the Redwood Creek watershed used during 1997-1998 by the National Park Service.
This graph show results of the coho salmon spawner survey by kilometer conducted in Redwood Creek during 1997-1998 by the National Park Service. The density of spawners during the peak of the run (January 7, 1998) was 3, 2, and 18 spawners per km in Reaches 1, 2, and 3 respectively and the total density during this time was 8 fish per km. The total density of redds in the mainstem of Redwood Creek was 12 per km, with Reach 3 having the highest density and Reach 1 having the lowest density.
