Sediment: Redwood Creek Particle Size by Reach 1995 |
|
Caption: Modified Wolman pebble counts were conducted within bankfull channel at flatwater and riffle units in six reaches along mainstem Redwood Creek and one reach in tributary, Fern Creek, in the summer of 1995. The graph shows the pebble size categories (see Chart Table for definition) as a percent of the substrate. These data were collected by the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA). GOGA notes that Kent-Dipsea and Dipsea-Bridge 4 generally have the greatest number of redds or live adult salmon during the winter.
