Habitat: Redwood Creek Habitat Types Volume 1995 |
|
Caption: The volume of habitat types were measured in six reaches along mainstem Redwood Creek and one reach in tributary, Fern Creek, in the summer of 1995 by the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA). The total habitat distance measured included the summation of habitats in secondary channels and adjacent habitat types. Big-Lagoon-Pacific Way had the greatest amount of habitat volume per stream distance (see Picture #3 for habitat volume per stream distance graph). GOGA notes that this area is dominated by large pools.
