Fish: Redwood Creek Spawner Salmonid Count by Station 1995-1996 |
|
Caption: Salmonids, with a focus on coho salmon, were counted in Redwood Creek, as well as the tributary Fern Creek, during the 1995-1996 spawner season by Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA). The graph shows these observations by station going downstream. GOGA notes that, similar to last year, no coho or redds were observed in the study area below Pacific Way bridge, which is within the potential Big Lagoon restoration site. In addition, it was stated that there appeared to be two main areas for spawning, the Mt. Tamalpais State Park area (Stations 6-9) and the Muir Woods National Monument (Station 11-17).
