Documentation for MMWD Fisheries GIS data:

All data was originally in California State Plane coordinates and based on the USGS 7.5-minute quads at 1:24,000 scale.  All data and documentation were produced by Marin Municipal Water District.  No official metadata were available.

JUVSITES
	Thirteen juvenile salmonid sample sites in Lagunitas Creek, San Geronimo Creek and Devil's Gulch. No attribute data other than site name. Not GPSed.

REDD9900
	Coho redds (nests) observed during 1999-2000. Date redd was found, redd number, the distance (feet) from the survey starting point, number of male, female and jack (precocious) coho observed on the redd, and whether the redd was superimposing another redd. Locations not GPSed, taken off USGS 7-minute quad.

REDD0001
	Coho redds (nests) observed during 2000-2001. Date redd was found and redd number.

REDD0102
	All salmon redds observed during 2001-2002. Date redd was found, redd number and species of salmon that built the redd.

COHODENS
	Line coverage of redd density in Lagunitas Creek, San Geronimo Creek and Devil's Gulch during 1999-2002. Each 1000-foot stream segment has the number of coho redds observed for each year and an average redd density for three years. This coverage is intended to show the coho spawning areas in the Lagunitas Creek watershed.

WOODY
	Point locations of 43 planned and completed woody debris projects in Lagunitas Creek. Site number (from the Lagunitas Sediment and Riparian Management Plan) and date completed. Zeroes mean not completed. Locations estimated from USGS 7-minute quad.

EROSION
	Point locations of planned and completed erosion control projects in the Lagunitas Creek watershed. Site number (from the Lagunitas Sediment and Riparian Management Plan) and date completed. Zeroes mean not completed. Locations estimated from USGS 7-minute quad.


DOCUMENTATION DATES:

   February 2002:     Reprojected to UTM NAD27 (no shift), and clipped to KRIS Project study area.
